Anyone from Houston?

We are travelling with my daughter and her school to a Robotics Championship at Reliant Stadium in Houston April9th-13th/03.We will be staying at The Hyatt downtown and I can only take sooo much Robot! Any good Malls around ??

Well, there's the Galleria at Westheimer and the 610 Loop - it's a huge mall with an ice rink, plenty of restaurants, and shopping galore. That would be the place to go to pass the time and it is close to Downtown. Right across the street from the Galleria is F.A.O. Schwartz and a slew of other great places to shop (The Container Store is a fave of mine).

It depends - will you be driving a rental car or taking a taxi? It's not technically far but you will need transportation. You can visit www.houston-guide.com to get more information about the Galleria and how to get around Houston.

We will have shuttles from/to the airport and back and forth between the hotel and Reliant Stadium...I guess my Mall outing will be by taxi!!

The Galleria would be a great choice--great restaurants, great stores----ask your hotel about a shuttle--I know some of them have one.
