I was wondering if anyone here is from eastern NC and has been to WDW at the end of Sept. What would the weather down there compare to up here? Is it like the middle of Aug. here? Just would like to know what to expect.
Thanks.

We are from Eastern NC and we have been three times in September. September weather in Orlando is kind of like it has been here the past two days - 90's, humid, always a chance of thunderstorms that may or may not happen. It doesn't bother us a bit because we have just been through a whole summer of hazy, hot and humid weather. Twice in September, we have had hot temps with no rain - perfect for afternoon and evening times at the pool. One time we had rain almost everyday, but it was just afternoon thunderstorms that made everything steamy after (like NC in August). You'll sweat as soon as you leave your hotel room, but the same happens here. Might as well be at Disney! :thumbsup2

You'll be fine - no worries (except that there is very little sweet tea in the World :rotfl2: )!

The good news is.....things are changing. We're originally from NC, & moved to Florida 10 yrs. ago. I'm not too fond of drinking syrup (aka sweet tea). ;) My DH & DS love it though. When we 1st moved here, Cracker Barrel was about the only place that served sweet tea. Now, many places in the Tampa area do. The Orlando area can't be far behind.
