Anyone from DC area or been to DC in Dec

Was wondering what are the chances of seeing snow in Dec....How cold should I expect it to get?

It can really range in December, but there's a good chance of seeing snow, especially the further into December it gets. We have many white Christmases.

I'd say your chances are about 50/50. I can't remember if it was last year or the year before that we had some "snow days" off from school a week or two before Christmas. As for the temps...it usually is about the high 30s or in the 40s each day...unless the snow comes in. In the 20s in the evenings. You will need hats & mittens.
