Anyone for Dec. 2011?

We are planning for Dec 18-23 (if we can wait that long!). We really want to go see Disney all lit up for the holidays. We will be staying off property as usual in the same rental house we always stay at.

Count me in! We are looking at December 2011 but haven't nailed down a date yet. My DDs (13 & 10 now) want to go for Christmas (12/22 - 1/1) but in reading different threads here, maybe we'll change our plans. I'm not fond of taking them out of school for a week, especially when they will be off the week after Christmas. Discounts could change my mind What to do???

In the pre-planning stage for our Dec 2011 trip! I think we will be getting 3 rooms at POP! We visited POP Century last May and thought it was super fun!

Tentative dates of 12/15-12/21. This will be mil, sil and my parents 1st trip to WDW and our family's first trip at Christmas. So glad there are other Disney fans who like to plan early!!! Yay! Can't wait to read everyone's ideas and plans!

We would love to see WDW at Christmastime- we would go around Dec.10 for a shorter trip (4 days).

Can't make up my mind between Dec. or end of oct.

We're also in the planning stages for our December 2011 trip. Tentative dates are 12/15 through 12/26 at WL, then doing a 3 night cruise 12/26-12/29. Our kids, DS17, DD13, DS10, and DS5 know about the WDW trip, but not the cruise....They'd find out the day before we sail, Christmas morning.

I'm anxiously reading the boards for people going this December, to help me plan for next year.

We have been taking our DD (13 y/o) out of school 5 years. We usually leave around the first week of Dec and don't come back until the 23rd. We drive down so we plan for a certain day then we always end up leaving earlier. I don't have any issues with taking my DD out of school early. As much as education is important so is our family time. I just make sure any projects that are due we know about in advance and have them done.

DD and I were there in late Nov/early Dec during both 2008 and 2009. Have to give it a miss this year. But we do so love WDW during the holiday season. So much to take in and there's nothing quite like it. The decorations are simply magical. We're hoping to visit WDW again in 2011 (preferably Nov 28 - Dec 11). During the Christmas season, naturally! MVMCP at the Magic Kingdom and the Candlelight Processional at Epcot are exceptionally good. Highly recommended!

We are also planning Dec 2011. We are looking at Dec.3-10. We are taking our twin nieces for their double digit birthday.

We are planning the same time. It will be my mother (55), father (54), DH (35), Me (29), and DS (will be 4 then). We're looking at POR or WL, depending on any PINS. We'll weigh that against any free DDP offers. I'm just hoping for some kind of offer.

We've been there twice. Both times off-site and I'm really looking forward to staying at Disney.
