Anyone fly from Pittsburgh to Orlando?

Just wondering if any fellow Cdns have flown from PIT to MCO and what their experience was?

I've found a great price and carryon's are allowed - two great reasons to fly out of PIT, as long as it's worth it.

We have flown out of pittsburgh twice now since we live in Oakville and it's almost same drive to go to Pittsburgh airport as Detroit airport. It's just over a 4 hr drive to Pittsburgh for us. We flew nonstop with AirTran to Fort Myers last year during March break and got an incredible deal. We paid $67.00 return including taxes since AirTran had a $25.00 coupon as well. It cost for a family of 5 a total of $335.00US including taxes.

TIP: If you want a hotel for the night before bid $35.00 using Priceline under Pittsburgh-Airport under 3* and 90% chance you will get the Marriott Courtyard. They allow you to leave your vehicle at the hotel for free while in Florida and have a free shuttle to airport. It's cheaper than just driving down and paying for parking. Oh yes Pittsburgh airport is very easy and nice as well to get around. Much easier than Pearson I can tell you that much.

Not right on the border so getting a little further away during March break especially can save you $$$

Thanks again. We are going during March break and saved a bundle flying out of PIT. I wish I had booked earlier and could've saved some more. But even so, 6 tickets, round trip for $1200. That's the equivalent of 2 out of Pearson!

Glad to hear you got a good deal here! I avoid Pearson at all costs and you are right on the money $1200 will buy you 2 tickets from Pearson during March break. Have a good trip!
