Anyone find out what the deal is with all the park restaurants?

Has any one out there gotten any info on the park restaurants only having early PS's available? What's the deal?

Not quite sure what you are asking, some of the restaurants might be closing early if the MVMCP is going on one of the nights..you do not specify which park or what dates you called about.
MK and MGM do not stay open very late during your time period. We were there last year and MK closed at 7:00 or 6:00 if the MVMCP was that night and MGM closed at 6 or 7 as well. Epcot was open to 9:30 and AK closed at 5:00

no that's not it zulaya. i think the op is referring to something many of us have encountered when calling the first day ps's are available at mgm and the mk (maybe other places too, but those are the ones i have read about). the only dinner time we could get on the 60th day out for 50's ptc, for example, was 5 pm. why i don't know. the park is open til 8:30 that night. it seems to be happeneing to a lot of people.

Sorry about the confusion. I am not referring to when I go in Dec. I was asking about recent posts I've seen for folks head out soon, July and Aug. There have been many stating that even with later park hours posted, PS's can't be made for times later than about 6:00. I don't have any stake here, just curiousity.

So any updates from recent exchanges with a knowledgable CM?
