Anyone Familiar with South Beach?

Anyone know how far South Beach is from the Miami airport. DH wants to go to the Miami Ink Tattoo Parlor on our way to our cruise in Nov. We are flying into Miami. Does anyone know? Has anyone been to this Tattoo parlor? Will appreciate any info. Thanks!

It's pretty close. Just a few miles. South Beach is just north of the cruise terminal--about a 10 minute drive. I believe the airport is just west of the cruise terminal.

Like Beth 76 said, it is really close! I love that show, who does he want to get a tat from? I am a chicken and would never do it, but if I did I think I would pick Chris Garver! His work is awesome!!!

Yep, he wants Chris Garver to do it. DH already has two tats. Not that crazy about him getting another but since we will be right there he really should get it done by the best. I am so glad it is that close to the terminal.

Me and my dad love that show! We watch it together sometimes. He says that they are booked WAY ahead of time, so if you even want a chance of your DH getting a tattoo done there, you better call ASAP. My parents are going to Las Vegas in a couple monthes and my dad wants to go to Carey Hart's shop and get flames put around his tat. I'm not thinking he is going to get in. I don't even think he should do that. I like it the way it is. I think if he gets the flames, when he gets old and his skin gets all wrinkly and stuff, it will just look like a giant orange blob.
