Anyone familiar with Grad Night??

I'm going to be in "The World" on May 5th and 6th and I believe there is "Grad Night" on both of those nights... I see MK closes at 7:00pm both of those nights. What I'm curious to know is - are the other parks affected by "Grad Night"? Or do the Grads pretty much stick to the Magic Kingdom? And also - I'm staying at the Pop Century these nights... does anyone have any experience with the value resorts during "Grad Nights"??

Any advice is appreciated...

I went to high school in Florida and our grad nite was only at MK- we did not reserve rooms, just got back on the bus and went home. Hope you have a great time. We went during the Night of Joy in Sept and MK closed early on Fri alnd Sat. I was alittle worried but all was fine- no big crowds at MK that day or any other park at closing time of MK.

Yep, Grad Nite is the title of the event and it is only at MK. Just go to any of the other parks that night and you'll be fine, or have an early evening...

We will be at Pop from May 3- 7th also. When my DD did Grad night last year they went by bus from their school and had to return on the bus. They were not able to stay at a resort.
