Anyone every stay at the Marriott Village Resorts

A friend is planning a trip and considering staying here instead of one of the resorts inside Disney. She will need to rent a car and tickets and is wondering if this would be saving her any money or should she just bite the bullet and book on-site. Since we have never stayed off-site I am not sure if it would be a savings or not. Looking for opinions, thanks!

That all depends on what the prices of the values and/or moderates are vs. the price of the Marriott's at the particular time she is going. Do you have those numbers?

It is a great place to stay though.

Thanks for the response. They are looking at either AKL, WL or Contemporary and the prices she has are around $4,500 for airfare, hotel tickets & meal plan. She is thinking she can save some $$$ by staying off-site but I really do not think it would be all that much??
