Okay I just noticed today that my dh's credit card is a universal card. And apparently we have 10,464 in points that we haven't used.. has anyone used there points for trips? If so is it really worth cashing in for them? Any little thing I can get cheaper for our trip I am willing to do. :goodvibes

Well, I am not sure if this is exaclty what you are talking about, but I did use my credit card reward points for a couple of Best Buy Gift cards. I then used the gift cards to purchase my first digital camera for use on our upcomming trip.

We always try to use points for our flights, and this past year I used points for a 7 day magic your way pass! We think it was worth it.:thumbsup2

My mom & I are going to Aruba in September (boss couldn't use time share and gave it to us for $500!!) I paid $600 for my flight and she cashed in her sky miles (accumulated from flights and credit card rewards) and only had to pay the taxes which were $57.00! I think it is definetly worth using your rewards because it can always save you $ somewhere!

We always use our points toward our hotel or tickets. I have a disney visa card and my husband has points from his work card. Last year we used about $300 toward our trip. Every little bit helps. We don't use our credit cards much but when we do we save our rewards for our trip every year. I also use some of the points to purchase cute cheap shirts from disneyshopping.com before we go. Right now there is the semi-annual sale going on and free shipping on purchases over $75. We get at least two sets of matching shirts to wear to WDW and I never pay full price. Points are great to me.

i just went on to see what I have earned and the only thing it said was purchase four ticket to both universal & the other part their and get the 5th ticket free... I am not sure how much the tickets are. I don't even know how to go about getting the points. I guess I could call our credit company to find out? There is a button that said cash out or something but I don't want to do that without knowing what it is.
