Just wondering if it's really worth the money? I'll be going back to work a couple of evenings a week and my baby will be just under 4 months at the time. She's been strictly breast fed and will continue to be, but obviously while I'm at work daddy will have to feed her. Actually does anyone have a gently used one they'd like to sell?...Please feel free to PM me...
Thanks!

I own/operate a licensed daycare and one of our parents uses the Adiri "bottles". She originally tried the Avent and that didn't work well so she tried these with the advice of her lactation consultant and they seemed to work best.

While I don't have any to sell, obviously, just wanted to tell you they have been a big help here as she used to have come here and BF during the day otherwise.

GL!

I appreciate the positive info, thanks! Just nervous about leaving her even though it'll only be for a total of about 10 hrs a week...She's my third and with my second I went back to work PT when she was 8 weeks old and she totally freaked out and would not accept it so after a very horrible week for her, DH and me, I had to leave work for another few weeks until she was a little older. This time my DD will be older than my other DD was and I'll be going back for less hours per week and I just want to do whatever I can to minimize anybody being distressed!

I had dh try it when dd refused EVERY type bottle. She hated Avent bottles.

I liked it but dh never worked with her to use it. He tried it twice I think. They are really neat and so worth it. ;)

My dd finally started taking the platex premium nursers the disposable ones with the clear silicone nipples not the darker ones. It took her nearly 3 months to take a bottle at all then it was only for dh and no more than 3-4 ounces at first. She later took 5-6 but has never been one to drink more than 6 ounces in a sitting. She prefered less more often. LOL

Try one out. It really is the closest thing to nursing. :)

Let me add that later does NOT mean it will be easier. For me it was harder. She was sooooo used to nursing she refused everything else. My dd was 3 months when I went back to work part time i was only gone 5-6 hour days execept Mondays where I was gone 10 hours. She would wait 5-6 hours for me to get home and nurse like madman.

Oh and I have pm'd you regarding giving you the very gently used one of mine. ;) I won't except pay for it but if you would like to send the postage I can get it to you faster. :) I'm sure a $3.95 priority stamp would be plenty. ;)
