I've only rented a car once in Orlando and it was a priceline deal. I have not been able to secure such a great deal again (name your own price was like $11 a day). We typically use Disney's transportation, but if I could get a car cheap enough I always consider it because it can be more convenient than waiting for busses.
Many times on priceline when I can't get a super cheap "name your own price" (those go through the 5 major companies Hertz,Avis,Budget, Alamo, and National.....although I'm seeing Sixt as a new one on there) there are great deals through "EZ rental car ,and Advantage. Has anyone had experience with these companies? Online reviews for them are NOT good at all, but you can't believe everything on the internet, and typically people are far more likely to leave negative reviews than take the time to post a positive one if they had it. Just curious if it's worth the try. I'll stick with Disney transportation over trying to get a deal and having a horrible time.
