I got a really cheap quote from them for my trip in September, but I'm wondering why they're so cheap! Anyone have experience with them? thw web site is www.e-zrentacar.com

some have had "pushy insurance" sales tactics at the counter...but by and large, most posters have reported good things...certianly no worse than any other car rental co.

Just take along a photocopy of your own car insurance. We'll be renting form them if rheir rates stay as competitive as they have been.

L&M is their sister company located at MCO. So if you don't want to take the shuttle, check their site too:)

HTH!!

Rental companies can offer lower rates when their cars are not brand spankin' new. In the case of EZ and L&M, being owned the same company, they might put the year old cars from L&M in the EZ lots.

Some rental companies, including EZ, L&M, and Payless, reserve the right not to rent to you if you neither have collision on a car back at home nor buy their collision coverage.

Check the "policies" or "terms" page on the company's web site.

I'm researching them also as we need an 8 passenger van. They are not at the airport, but they shuttle you, According to www.mapquest.com it is approx 8 miles and 16 minutes to their address at 1777 Mccoy Rd.

Anybody else use them??

We used them way before we joined Emerald Club so it's been a long time. At that time, we had no problem with them and the car we rented was comparable to other car rentals for the same type of car. We've also used Payless and will NEVER use them again. I've heard a lot of negative reports about L & M so if Payless is now part of that team, and if I'm reading the other posts correctly, so is EZ Rent, I would avoid renting with any of these agencies. My opinion only and I've really only had a bad experience with Payless.

I used them in December and will be using them again on Monday. Their rates are great. Because of the shuttle it takes some extra time to get there, and takes a while to check in and out, so add anywhere from half an hour to over an hour to get your car. The car I had in December was a brand spankin' new Nissan Sentra, I think it was, as an economy car. So I'd recommend them, you just give up a little convenience for some premium savings. Oh, and you'll need to bring a copy of your own insurance if you want to wave getting it there.

Overall sounds pretty good, but just FYI, for us we would be getting a mini van from them and it would be from the Kissimmee Amtrak station which they said wouldn't be a problem. I'm assuming that means a shuttle would pick us up at the station and bring us to the rental place? Anyway their rates were great so we will probably give them a shot this time.
