I've been making a lot of smoothie lately with frozen fruit and nearly burning out the motor on my (very cheap) blender. Does anyone know if the magic bullet works well with anything frozen? What else is the bullet good for?

I love mine - perfect for frozen drinks - of all varities. It does a great job on ice, and frozen fruit. It make a good quick salsa. It does not do well with onions or peppers - just turns them to veggie mush

That's what I was thinking and it made me remember the conversation I had with my sister in law, just last Thanksgiving.

:thumbsup2 It was a really funny conversation with my sis when I told her mom got me a Magic Bullet for Christmas.

I have an off-brand Magic Bullet from macy's and I love it. It is so easy to use and it makes excellent smoothies and milkshakes. I have never really tried anything else in it yet though.

Alright you guys, get your minds out of the gutter!;)

DGD asked for one for Christmas last year - when she was only 10.. LOL.. She loves the darn thing and is always whipping up one "experiment" after another.. Some have been extremely tasty - others have been the ones where you have to hold your breath while drinking it, smile, and say, "Well now that's certainly different!!" ;)

I use mine for lots of things...fav is smoothies. So fast and perfect for just one. Did you not get a book? I have 2 books with all kinds of stuff to use it with.

My husband uses ours all the time. It makes the best smoothies. :thumbsup2

We use it all the time! Smoothies, whipped cream (so much better than the can stuff), scrambled eggs, pancake batter are all on our list!

We love ours... BOTH of them. One we bought and one was a gift. We use it mostly for 3 things... grinding cheese, making salsa, and making the rare smoothie.

Another thing I do is make small batches of BBQ sauce in them.

I love it. Works great with frozen bluberries and strawberries.
