Anyone ever use a double jogging stroller at the parks?

We are debating between the double jogging stroller and the regular double front/back stroller since we have both. Which one is easier to use in the parks? More comfortable for the kids? (ages 3 1/2 and 22 months) any info/advice appreciated!

okay, now I just talked to a friend of mine who said I could use her sit and stand stroller! More confusion. What is the best option?

I don't think I would do a sit and stand unless your oldest doesn't sit down much. I would go with the one easiest to manuever and fold up!

We have both too. My kids are the same age and we have used the double jog stroller. It really is a pain. I would not do it unless you could drive to the park yourself. Disney is not very
accomodating to the double jog stroller. I had one bus driver tell me I needed to rent the stroller at the park. My little one was only 6 months old and the ones at the MK really aren't for small ones. That is my experience with them. Disney wound up giving us a substantial discount the next time because of all the problems we had. I guess in a strange way it was worth it but I won't do it again.

thanks for the info. Ceroarty, you're making me think that I should go with the sit and stand one. Does anyone out there own a sit and stand? what are your experiences with it? thanks!

I'm afraid I have one word for a double jogging stroller at the parks--NIGHTMARE!! I was constantly stuck with no path between people and received many dirty looks when I would try and manuver through. I would go with the front/back stroller. Much easier!

Its best to bring your own, we have a pretty lightweight stroller that is easy to carry around, not as easy as an umbrella but lose enough, also has a rain guard.

The Disney strollers are more trouble than they are worth, for us we go to multiple parks in a day, plus having to return the stroller getting a voucher to get one at another park is annoying.

Also the strollers are this hard plastic and not very comfortable for a kid, but you know kids once they are tired they will sleep anywhere.

whoops I missread your post. I thought you were debating on renting strollers from disney.

But after reading I dont know a double stroller is big and unless you are staying say at the POLY that would be a bit tough to carrry around and manuever in the parks itself.
