Anyone ever try Hydroxycut?

or any of those weight loss pills? I've been working out like a demon for the past 3 weeks, counting every bite of food that's gone into my mouth and I have not lost an ounce!!! I'm desperate and ready to try drastic measures!
 
My dsis did and had a seizure.If you try it please be careful.It turns out she was prone to seizures and didn't know it but whatever the active ingredient was brought it on.
Maybe you are not eating enough and therefore burning muscle instead of fat.
 
You probably won't see any results in as soon as 3 weeks. .

I would never put anything like that into my body. NO WAY!

Just keep working at it the natural way. You'll get there eventually. :thumbsup2
 
Don't worry so much about the scale. You could still be losing without dropping lbs.
 

If those things actually worked they'd be prescription only and the drug companies would charge a fortune for them. Don't waste your money or risk your health on that crap.

They actually do work but they're not safe in part because of not being regulated.

Don't do it. I worked for over 2 years as a pharmacy tech and every single pharmacist I chatted with about the stuff said that ALL those diet pills are bogus. At best you're just getting a super-dose of vitamins. Stick with the workouts... you're probably just at a weight-loss plateau. It'll work in the long run & is an excellent activity to establish for longer life.

Also get this... none of them are FDA or Drug certified as they're considered natural supplements and get around the rules. So in essence just about anything could be in there. Don't play with your health.... please?

If you are working out, you are probably "trading" fat for muscle.
 
Yep, your wallet will be losing the weight!!! ;)

I would say give it a couple more weeks. Sometimes it takes a while for the weight drop to kick in.

The previous poster is right.
The key to losing fat/weight is to go slow and steady on the workout. Not so much the aerobics or weightlifting. This with moderated (not severely restricted) food intake, to keep your metabolism fueled. This is always what the trainer on Extreme Makeover preached.

The aerobics and weights and heavier workouts should come later, for muscle and body sculpting.

Ok, you've talked me off the ledge. The funny thing is, I got the idea yesterday while I was on the treadmill. They ran a commercial for one of those things and I thought "hmm, maybe it will give me some kind of jump start".
I'm sure you're all right, that it would just be a waste of money. Now all I have to do is be patient and not eat the candy aisle in frustration.
 
I work out with a trainer. She told me it takes about 5 weeks of steady excercising, then you start to see the results.
 
If there were a magic "fat pill" there would be no fat doctors...
