Anyone ever take their kids to the ESPN club on a Sunday during football season?

We will be at WDW in September and the Steelers will be playing the Bengals. DH and I would love to go and watch the game. My DS (7) is a big fan too. DD is 2.

DH and I have been there for the later games but have never taken the kids since my mom has usually gone with us and stayed back at the room and watched the kids.

Are there any kids there in the afternoon with their parents? How is the restaurant part compared to the bar part during a game, ? Are they both rowdy, fun? We've only sat in the bar, and I know for the night games it can get pretty loud and rowdy.

We've been over several times with our girls but was never able to get in without a seriously long wait for a table. We ended up grabbing beers from their outside stand that was set up and browsing the boardwalk.

We're going to be staying at the BWV's and will just miss you (coming back on Sept 15). We have DS10 and DS5, it would have been fun to watch the game together.

It can get loud and a little rowdy but everyone seems to be fairly well behaved. I don't remember seeing anything that would worry me if I took my kids to it. I would be more worried with their attention span and if they would be disrupting others.

If I remember correctly everyone needs to be present in order to be sat in the dining room. We sat in the dining room for a Steelers-Pats game. The crowd wasn't too rowdy. It is definitely a long day though from waiting in line (we usually get in line 1-2 hours before game time, depending on who is playing). Then we sit for a while before the game (hopefully) and then sit for the whole game.

My parents took my brother, me, and my 2 cousins in '97 so we could watch the Giants (GO GIANTS ). We were older than your kids (12, 15, 8, 10) but we had a great time. We sat in the bar area and met many fellow Giants fans. It was noisy, but we were used to the noise b/c we go to the home games. I think there is nothing wrong with taking your children, you have to start them out being fans of your team early, right? If you do decide to take them, definitely get there early!

My wife and I will be there the same day to see the Vikings thrash the Bears lol. It will be the 10th day of an 11 day trip so I'm sure sitting in front of the tube for a few hours will feel great.

We took our 7 month old son there to meet a group of family members during a Sunday game back in January. (We didn't plan it well, didn't even think about the game, we were just trying to eat near MGM to catch the Osborne lights) It gets EXTREMELY loud in there at times, and I ended up leaving during appetizers with him. If she doesn't like loud places, she'll get scared. I definitely won't be taking him back there until he's old enough to be part of the action.

Have you thought about going to the All Star Cafe? I heard they have alot of tvs too.

We were there (All Star Cafe) this past January during the Steelers-Broncos play-off game and it was totally! ESPN was waaaay to busy to even bother getting in, but we had no problem getting a ressie for All Star Cafe. We didn't have to take DD (then 2) though since my in-laws took her to the parks that afternoon.
