Anyone ever take Cefzil?

Did it work for you? Dr. gave me this for a sinus infection on Friday. While my head/ears are a bit better, my chest is much worse...feels like I swallowed cement. Robitussin for chest congestion helps, but I don't think I should have NEW symptoms while on the antibiotic. Seeing my cardio (who is also an internist) for checkup tomorrow so I'll tell him all about it.

I took it and it did seem to work for me. Definitely check with your doctor. Antibiotics are funny and work on some infections, but not others. Good luck to you and I hope that you feel better!

Not me, but DS had it once for the "Ear Infectionn that Would not Go Away". He had a pretty bad allergic reaction to it. (Covered in spots from head to toe).

It did seem to be doing an OK job on his ear infection.

My DD has to take this, as it is an alternative for those with a penicillin allergy, which she has. It has always worked real well for ear infections or other sicknesses for which it's been prescribed.

The only thing helping a little is guafinesin every 4 hrs.
