We sat thru it once several years ago when we couldn't afford to go otherwise. (dh was laid off at the time.) It was at Cypress Pointe Grand Villas and we loved it, not enough to buy though
We now own a ts that is affiliated with RCI, the company that we trade thru, and I can tell you for sure that Silver Lake and Polynesian Isles are 2 completely different resorts, several miles away from each other, both affiliated with RCI.
PI has a Gold Crown rating which is the highest award they give. SL has the Silver Crown award. Some have no recognition award at all. Which one would you be staying at?
Without being an RCI member, you can still access info about RCI-affiliated resorts by going to
www.rci.com and click on the tab that says Resort Directory.
Be sure to tell them at the beginning of the presentation that you really only have 90 mins since you have to meet someone at the airport so you don't get stuck too long. Also make sure that you will get to stay at the resort you'll be touring. Sometimes they want you to tour a beautiful resort, but put you up at the Days Inn.

Only you can decide if it's worth it. Is it cheaper than what you'd typically spend on lodging? Will you be staying long enough that you don't mind giving up a morning to sit thru their presentation? To me, it's really not worth it if you have 1 week or less. If I had 10 days, I'd be more inclined. Then again, I'll be 40 next week

and the older I get, the less patience I have for
anything interfering w/ my vacation. You'll never know til you try. good luck and don't cave in even if you love the place. You can buy it for a fraction of the price resale.
