Anyone ever score CRT lunch ADRs less than 4 months out?

So I had to do a lot of shuffling when I made our ADRs for our October 10th-19th trip, but I was able to get everything we wanted once we adjusted some dates.

I scored an ADR for CRT early on our departure day, as we usually head to MK before we fly out in the late afternoon/early evening. We haven't booked our air yet, and now it looks as if we might have to fly out earlier, and would have to cancel our CRT breakfast. In the end, we decided that we'd actually rather have lunch there, but I've been trying for weeks to score a lunch ADR for 3 or 4 on one of two dates, with no luck.

Is there any chance something will open up as the dates get closer? Has anyone had any luck scoring a "last minute" lunch ADR? I'd love it if I could find someone who wanted breakfast but took lunch as a second choice, and we could try to time our cancelling and booking...

scan the cancelled thread for october and keep checking

its not un heard of getting one 4 months out especially lunch. lunch is the easier of the 3 to get. it also depends on which day you are looking for. Saturdays and sundays would be more difficult than midweek

I a couple of weeks ago I got a CRT for 7 for 2:30, at just under 90 days out.

So there's hope.

I just got a CRT breakfast at 8:10 on our MK day in mid September (9:00 rope drop). I was actually looking for Crystal Palace, which I already have on a different day. I've been checking every now and then to see if a good time pops up on our first MK day. CRT popped up, so I booked it. I don't know yet if we'll keep it or not.

Booked CRT ADR For Aug 2 lunch on July 5th! However there is no Chef Mickey to be found!

It can be done! I once got a res at our 3wk mark. I wasn't picky about the times or dates though, just shuffled other things when I snagged it.

We just booked our October trip a few weeks ago and the day we booked DH and I started looking at possible ADRs. As I took my girls to the movies to see Monsters U, I got a text from him that he booked a 2:40pm lunch on our arrival day for CRT, and then he booked a 7am flight out of Chicago which got us into Orlando by 10:30am. I was excited that he found a CRT ADR but I was really nervous about it being on our arrival day so soon after we get there, I didn't want something to happen to our flight and we not make the lunch ADR after spending all that money to get it. I decided to check for a new CRT ADR for a different date during our trip and luckily I found a breakfast for 8:20am (non EMH Day) for the very next day . I booked that ADR and then cancelled the lunch one right away. So long story short, keep checking because people cancel all the time. You may get a better chance once your 45 day mark comes because people have up until that point to cancel their trips without paying a fine (if they book a package)....therefore, I have found that people usually cancel right before the 45 day mark. I'm hoping to find one for the week of 8/11! We don't normally do big meals since you never know how toddlers are going to be, but it's my 30th birthday and I want a princess meal lol. Wish we decided this a long time ago!

You have to stalk the reservation website!

I just got CRT for 7:15 pm on 8/26 yesterday at 46 days away.

I also got Chef Mickey's for 7:35 pm & 'Ohana for 5:05 pm.

I sat at the computer for too many hours that I care to admit too! But it was SO WORTH IT!

Stalking pays off! Our trip was "last minute" - we booked our trip 65 days in advance. I got dinner reservations at CRT today (45 days out) on Saturday evening. I had a back up plan in case I didn't find one. This will be our FIRST time at CRT and my girls (who are 17 and 13) will be SO EXCITED!!!
