When we were there last time there was NO LINE whatsoever for Mission. Dd and I walked on and rode it. When it ended, as we were exiteing the craft, I asked the CM if we could do it again with the next group if it wasn't full. He said, "No," I'd have to walk all the way around, back out front, and then enter the que line again to have the "debriefing" video.

WHY???? If there was no line why couldn't we just join the next group out in the hall where you line up on your number and then enter the craft again?

Someone explain, please?

I'm not sure....Maybe because it's so horribly nauseating to ride that they make people give it that much of a break!! :earboy2:

But seriously, I'm not sure why they would do that. Maybe it was just that CM being difficult?

We had to get off and walk around on Space Mountain on an e-night once. There was no one waiting to get on. The same night, however, they let us stay on BTMR, fo 3 or 4 rides in a row. We didn't have to get off, until someone was waiting in the spot for our seats.

This is done in order to give guests a chance to regain their equilibrium before riding again. If it isn't done, there would be a significantly greater chance of the guest becoming ill on the 2nd trip. Even if the ride stops midway through, they will not let you just stay in your capsule and start it back up again. You will need to get out of the capsule, walk out of the attraction and back through the queue line again. It is all a matter of guest safety and comfort.

I agree with PammyK that it's just to make sure you get your bearings back. Believe it or not, we were on Goofy's Barnstormer one time and there was no one waiting so we asked if we could ride again, they said we could. We didn't have to get off and walk around, but they made us sit in the coaster for a minute before they started it up again. They said if they let us go right away, we may have gotten sick. I wouldn't think on a tame ride like that, you could get sick, but who knows. :flower1:

My DH and I did a kid swap during a soft opening of Misson Space. He waited in the play area and I went with our 2 older kids (12 and 10 years at the time). After we rode, he then went on the ride with the 2 older kids. They brought them through the back way, right into the line for a pod.

I could not have ridden on it back to back. I enjoyed the ride, but got woozy afterward. I have ridden it since, but would never do it back to back! Of course the kids had no ill effects and wanted to go again! By then there was a huge line outside and the ride was only open for about one hour.

I got it off of a website http://disgalaxy.com Once you're on it, go to the column on the left and you'll see a Holidays section, click on Valentine's Day and you'll find the Mickey and Minnie I have.

Our family dh I and 3 kids rode it 3-4times in a row, though we had to run round to the front again. I think CMs were baffled why none of us were throwing up. We were to busy squabbling over who was the navigator, who was the engineer, etc. Others waiting were just worried that they would hold down their lunch/dinner/insides :earboy2: Then we had to climb in the play area to retrieve the smaller members of the family. That was the most difficult part of the ride........... :teleport:

We got some great Mission space postcards from space :cool1: We were very competitive about who designed the best one. The highlite of that day was when astronaut Goofy was posing for photos near tomorrowland. It was coming in to dusk and it was an awesome grab a photo opp.. :flower:
