Anyone ever rent 2 cars?

We will be going to WDW in February. There are going to be nine of us so we can't all fit in a minivan. Last time we rented a 15-passenger van and it was fine but expensive. My friend and her kids are going with us but I know she is way too nervous a driver to drive down there but I was thinking DH could rent a car and I could rent another car. If we could get an internet special or use a code it seems like we could get the price for two cars around $300-350 instead of paying $600 for a van. Anyone have any ideas?

Last August, we had 10 people (3 families). We all decided to rent our own cars. It worked out great. Each group had flexibility and loved it.

Total cost was 184.10 per car for an Intermediate (Emerald Aisle) from National. Prices are down right now, so it would have been much cheaper.

I would definitely go that route versus a van.
