anyone ever paid off thier reservation/pkg. in advance?

I just called to pay off my ressie in advance through universal resorts. I was transferred twice and then given a # for the accounting dept. Sounds odd to me, so now I am not sure I want to do it. I guess I am just so used to CRO. I just want to have everything in order ahead of time. Please advise.

yes, I had to do the same thing pay off entire amount a certain amount of days before the departure date & then about 3 weeks before our departure date I received the entire package of tickets & information. We are leaving on 4/23. Once I received my information I did call the HRH & airlines to check that I had reservations & everything was fine.
 
I have paid in full each time we went. I called the accounting number and they faxed me a sheet that I put my CC number and sum on. Everything went smoothly, also a fax marked with no balance left was sent back.
 
Thanks for the info. I just called the accounting # and had to leave a voice mail or email them. I guess they are busy this morning.
 

Just wondering.....
How long does it take to get a confirmation of payment in full? I sent them the information on Monday and haven't heard back yet other than they received my information.
 
the final payment did take about 1 week to be posted - and then I asked them to email me an invoice showing zero balance -
