Anyone Ever Met Walt's Daughter Diane

As a huge fan of Disney and Walt. I was just wondering if any of the dis people have ever seen or met Diane Disney Miller. I think it would be neat to meet her as she his one of the last living links to Walt

No, but I agree it would be neat. She should do some kind of charity auction thing, buy a dinner with Diane! Seriously, I don't think many of them, except maybe Roy, enjoy the public eye too much. Can't say that I blame them.

I am a huge Walt fan. He is the main reason I am such a Disney park and movie fan. He was truly brilliant to come up with all that he did. It would be so amazing to meet someone who is related to him since it would be the closest I would ever get to meeting Walt himself. Wish I could meet his daughter.

My DH got to see Walt Disney himself, when DH was four or five, at the World's Fair. He still talks about it (he's 48 now), and is, of course, a huge Walt Disney fan. It's a shame Walt died so young, really. I do think that he would have loved a lot of stuff that was done after his death, and that he would be ecstatic over Animal Kingdom with all the real animals. He is still sorely missed.

I was fortunate enough to meet both Diane Disney Miller and Sharon Disney Lund when I was a CM back in 1988. I was working in the VIP area of the Living Seas (the part that is now rented out for weddings) which back then was the Harry J Gray Conference center run by United Technologies. The Walt Disney Company had a special board meeting and I got to meet Michael Eisner, Sharon Disney Lund, Diane Disney Miller and Sid Bass. I had met Sid Bass previously and he remembered me so that made my day.

Sharon and Diane were both friendly and polite to me.

I count myself lucky that I got to meet them all.
