Anyone ever lose their DVC Member card?

DH thinks he's lost his member card. Anyone know the procedure for getting a new one?

No problem! This just happened to me a few weeks ago. I didn't even know I'd lost it until I called to make reservations one day and realized I couldn't find my card. After giving the usual security info (last 4 digits of social security #, etc.), she said "Oh, that's OK, we'll just send you a new card." I was too embarrassed to admit it was probably lying around this mess of a house somewhere. Sure enough I found it several days later, and now I have 2 cards. I guess lots of people lose their cards.

This also happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I was calling MS to make a reservation anyway so I asked about replacing my card. They said they would send it in 6 to 8 weeks and if I don't get it by then call back. I haven't received it yet but I did find my old card. I agree it must happen a lot however I never misplaced it when I could use it at the Disney store-- it was always in my wallet!

Mine from 1999 started falling apart. I called in March, it took a good 2 months and a second call to get another one. When I called the second time, it was about a week before my trip, they told me to go to SSR and get a temporary one but I didn't bother, didn't need to use it since I have DDE for meal discounts.

Thanks everyone! Same thing here - he had it on the last trip, then when MS left us a message about our waitlist, he couldn't find it anywhere. We have torn the house apart, no card. I'll have him call today, since we're going in 8 weeks (hopefully we'll have it by then!).

Good news is, we now have a couple of clean closets...
