Anyone ever just shipped luggage ahead?

We would like to ship our vitals - dress, various personalized items, etc. ahead to our resort. Has anyone done this? We arrive on a Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and the small, in suite, wedding is at 7:30 p.m. that day. Will guest services hold on to shipped items until we arrive? For how long? If anyone knows, please advise.

depends on your resort. if you're conceriege, yes they will hold items, etc until you arrive, otherwise i dont think so but call your resort guest services to make sure. is your wedding through ftw? if so you could ship items down to your em to hold for you. best of luck.
