Anyone ever have a canka on their tonsil?

Ouch, it hurts! Been there for over a week now. Went to see doc yesterday and got this paste stuff that I put on it. Hard to put paste stuff on your tonsil without gagging you know! It is gummy and gritty.

EEEWWW.

It's a small circular ulcer like thing.

SSB had that many years ago... and was WAY painful....

After got even worse, the doctor used something that looked like a "sparkler" that had some chemical on the end that when it made contact with it, it seared it shut.

Sounds horrific, but did finally make it heal up and go away...

Ack!!

It is said that they can be brought on by stress. There has been a lot of that in work lately. A LOT! lot, lot.

Actually, warm water and salt mixed used as a gargle works well to. stings a little though.

Yep... SSB is a firm believer in that stress deallee... and seems DD has inherited from me.... she had a couple a few weeks back, and was just before she had to be in play at school, and was SO stressed about it. Luckily, all went well....
