Anyone ever go to Macy's Thanksgiving Parade?

Hi,
I was thinking of going to New York next year to see the Macy's Thanksgiving parade. Was wondering if anybody has ever done this? How was it? Where did you stand? How were the crowds?

We have done this in the past and were thinking about going again this year. There is a web page that tells you all about it where to stand and how to get there. We usually go at 6am because I like to be in the front (shortness) We dress very warm and never have anything to drink while we are there so we don't have to go to the rest rooms. Sounds like fun doesn't it? No, just kidding it is alot of fun. Enjoy
