Anyone ever get two studios vs a 2 br at SSR?? Are you close together?

I am looking at the points and it is cheaper points wise to get 2 studios than a 2 br. I wonder how these are laid out in each bldg? Anyone know? Or done this before?

There aren't any connecting studios with a door to join the two rooms together. But there are many within close proximity of one another. You could always request two rooms close together but as you know, there is no guarantee.

If you are particular about other aspects of the room location (specific building, floor, view, etc.) then a request for two studios close together probably puts those other requests in jeopardy. In other words, I wouldn't suggest requesting two studios in the same Congress Park building, on the 4th floor with a view of Downtown Disney. There aren't many rooms that would meet such stringent criteria.

But if you just request two studios near each other, I can't imagine the resort would have difficulty fulfilling that request.

Oh yeah I would never do that. This is only a backup if a 2br is not available but then again 2 studios might not be available either. I will find out tomorrow.

Hi - We have done that exact thing three times so far at SSR for our family of four - We put one adult and one child per room and every time we have been just down the hall from each other. It has worked out great - the only thing I miss is the laundry in room!
I must admit we have been very lucky as we have also always requested a certain grouping of buildings and they have been able to fill that request as well!

We just decided to part with the points and do the 2 br thing. I was able to get 4 of our first 7 nights and I am waitlisting the other 3. We have a backup plan for the last 3 nights at the CBR..
