Anyone ever fax room requests to Swan/Dolphin?

We are staying at the Dolphin March 23-30 and I was just wondering what kinds of room requests are appropriate and how and when to fax them. We are staying in a standard room, so I'm not sure if there is anything we could request view or location wise. But for a king size bed? Non-smoking room? Please let me know if you have ever faxed requests, how exactly you go about doing it, and what your experience was!! Thankssss a Bunch!

I never faxed but I did make the request on line and on the phone to the reservation agent. Both times my requests were granted and one time, although I requested one thing (high floor) in advance, I was able to change when I checked in (to ask for a balcony room). Good luck!

A standard room is a standard room, never faxed a request, have stayed at the Dolphin many, many times. If they aren't busy during your stay, they are pretty good about giving you a nicer room when you check in. I would just play it by ear. The Dolphin is a wonderful resort..you are going to love it.
