Anyone ever do the surveys for money?

found this survey site, says complete survey then sign up for 2 offers and get a $100 gift card, are these legit?

I don't trust those things at all. Is it really worth it to hand over all of your information. Most likely there is a catch.

Without knowing the exact website that the OP visited, I can't say for sure whether it is legit or not. There are "survey" websites that will offer you just about any king of reward out there in exchange for answering a few survey questions...or at least that's what they say at first.

After completing page after page of survey questions and declining one offer after another, you will most likely reach a page where you will be asked to complete 3-5 "silver" offers followed by a couple of "platinum" offers and then you will need to have a specified number of friends who are willing to do the same thing via a link that you send them.

Eventually, when everyone completes their offers (all of which cost money) and IF the companies credit them properly, you will get your prize. In the meantime, your telephone number and email will have been sold to every spammer out there.

I'm not saying that this is the case with the website the OP found. But getting something for very little of nothing just doesn't happen in the real world.

I don't know the specific offer you are talking about, but I know the type. In most cases what you sign up for are clubs, memberships or trials of some sort. And you have to give them a credit card to pay. More often than not, the amount you have to purchase winds up pretty close to the "Award / Prize".

If you do decide to try, make sure you read all of the terms, policies, etc not only of the survey site page, but also what you are signing up for. Many have recurring monthly fees that you need to cancel before the next billing cycle if you don't want to keep the service.
