Anyone ever do a b'day at American Girl Place?

Hi! I have a birthday lunch scheduled for DD at AG Place in a few weeks. Just wondering if anyone knows what the "surprise" for each girl is. Is it enough for a party favor, or should I plan on doing something else? She is only allowed to take two girls as I knew the moms would want to go too (and I was right!). I have warned them that DD has some money to spend (not tons, but enough for a couple of doll outfits) so I think they're planning to give their girls a little too. So everyone should leave there with a bag anyway, but I'm really wanting to know what the "surprise" is...thanks for the help!

Also...any tips for how to handle the bill? Both moms have already said they'd pay for themselves, but the whole reason DD could only invite two girls is that I knew I'd have two moms as well...I really insist on paying for them as that was what I'd planned. How far do I let an argument go while sitting at the table? Thanks!

Which AG Place are you going to?? Since you're in TX, I was just wondering where you and all these girls and moms were traveling to.

We celebrate my DD's birthday at AG Place Chicago every year. And several visit's in between. So if you would like lots of details just PM me.

The gift that they give each attendee is (as of this past October) a cute little note pad in the shape of an AG Place t shirt. Each page has AG Place stamped on it. Also included was a stamp and stamp pad and stickers. And a picture frame that says AG Place on it. It all comes in a little AG Place bag. They used to give AG Place star insignia necklaces and bracelets.

They do a bunch of other cute stuff too. Like I said PM me if your interested.
