Anyone ever Disneymooned at AKL?

I am going for a late much needed honeymoon at AKL 8/31-9/04.

We delayed going out of town, because of husband to be's new job. (no full weeks within the first 90 days). I was wondering if anyone else had their honeymoon at AKL and what made it really special. Also if you could suggest anything I would really appreciate it.


I cant wait to leave Buffalo!!!

We honeymooned at AKL and it was magical! We were offered a free upgrade from a Savannah view to a deluxe Savannah view. We really loved watching the animals on the balcony first thing in the morning! The whole resort had a really exotic and romantic feel. You will not be disappointed!

We did not disneymoon but stayed there and Wow, it was great! We woke up everyday to animals grazing and it was so relaxing and enjoyable. We have stayed all over property but AKL was quite unique! The only drawback was you used buses, if you think of that as a drawback. We don't because we just love all of Disney!!

Hey there! We are going to be Disneymooning at the AKL Aug. 6-12th!!!! I would love to hear anything you all have to say too!!! I am getting really excited because the day is getting REALLY close!
