Anyone ever decide to split their stay while there?

We leave in 9 days! Yeah! Originally we were going to stay at BC. But my sister decided to join us and was staying at AKL. Kids loved the idea of AKL so I booked there figuring it would be easier to all be at one hotel. Now sister is leaving after 4 days. I'm thinking about switching to BW or Poly, but can't decide what to do. Has anyone decided to change resorts spur of the moment? How did it work out? Was guest services or CRO helpful?

Hi, When we were four days into our stay at PO, we switched to WL. Guest Services got the WL room controller to call me. They didn't have AP rates left which was the rate I was on at PO so, they offered me a managers special which was even lower than AP rate. It all went v smoothly and was definitely worth it.

I'm going down in September for 16 days and am splitting my stay between 2 resorts. Am staying at the Caribbean Beach for the first time ever at the beginning of the trip, then heading over to Port Orleans French Quarter (my favorite moderate). Plan on either taking a cab over to the next resort or letting Bell Services transfer my bags over. Looking forward to the split. Did this once before between POFQ & the Beach Club and everything worked out fine.

I'm splitting my stay for the first time in October. We're at POR for 4 nights and OKW for 5 nights. I'm excited about staying at both.

I've done this 3 times without any problems. The 1st time I simply changed views @ GF after 1st night. You have to go through CRO if you want to get AP rates. The 2nd time we switched mid-stay from POR to YC over Labor Day weekend and were still able to get an AP rate. This past Labor Day we switched from POR to WL and were able to get an upsell rate. The only tricky thing is making sure your money tranfers smoothly if you paid your entire stay in advance. We love to resort hop and have done it many times with no problems, even when we did it on the spur of the moment during our trip.
