Anyone ever buy an Ipod from Ebay?

My dd wants one, but since she's 7, I'm not about to get her anything crazy. I was looking at a Nano, but was thinking a refurbished one would be good enough.

Any ideas on where I can get one? I was looking at Ebay, but don't know if I can trust it?

I bought my DD a refurbished nano from the online Apple store last year. It was $99 and looked brand new.

If you are looking at refurbished, try apple.com. I have purchased 3 different refurbished ipods. Apple gives the same warranty as if you were purchasing a new one. Right now they have shuffles for $39

I have purchased 2 from ebay, and had no problems. I would highly recommend using Paypal in case you ran into any problems. I was getting them for my youngest two before our trip to Disney last year (they are great for watching individual movies), and I certainly didn't want to buy new ones, given their ages. We got them quickly and they worked perfectly.

I purchased 2 from ebay last year. No problems at all. Worked great and looks great. Matter of fact I will be relisting them on ebay shortly as my dd and ds both are asking for the ipod touch even though they love their nanos.

I second PP try the Apple store online. One good thing is they have a full 1-year warranty that way as e-bay might not. And their shipping is really prompt (I got mine in 3 days from date of purchase) and FREE. Plus on e-bay with the shipping and insurance charges you're paying as much as with Apple and you just don't know who you're dealing with or where it's coming from. DH was looking at one and it was coming from Singapore .
