Anyone ever booked last minute Value resort?

I was wondering if it is ever possible to book a last minute (as in night before or day of) room for one night at one of the Values...has anyone on here ever actually done that before?

Yep - did it once when the weather was bad in Chicago and decided to leave a day early to get ahead of a snow storm. We were booked at Wilderness Lodge, called right before we got on the plane a booked one night at Pop. We didn't arrive until about 1am, but the front desk was great and even gave us a number to order pizza delivery (everything else was closed and we were starved!)

I have driven to pop, walked in and booked a room one trip before checking into the poly the next day.

Yes. Although in my case I picked ASMo.

It just depends if there is a room available or not. There is usually one available some place at WDW, but sometimes the resorts do get full.

In my case, there was a big storm coming across the country. The airline told me I could go a day early for no extra cost, so I did.

I was even able to book ME, I just was asked to make a direct phone call to the ME folks with my flight info.

The one thing you can't add "last minute"- is the dining plan. They need 48 hours.
