In other words, IF we are lucky enough to get in on a bounceback, can I book two rooms, one for us and one for another family member, while on property?

Would I just leave 2 deposits? Has anyone ever done this?

I did this 9/07 Two rooms using my address on both with different names. I also made the deposit on both.

In what is yet another example of Disney giving out contradictory information...

We were down at WDW last September and booked the Bounce Back offer for 2008 for our family of 4. We WANTED to book it for our family and my parents, but was told "to be eligible for the Bounce Back Offer, ALL members have to be currently at Disney". Meaning, only the 4 of us currently on site could book the Bounce Back and the "grandparents" were ineligible, even if I booked it all under my name, paid the bill, etc. :confused3

Well, that is interesting, some get it and some do not, somehow that does NOT surprise me, LOL.

I believe that I'll try anyway, who knows maybe I'll get lucky! I guess I'll have to figure out the names ahead of time though, which might be tricky!

Last year the info I got was: each adult at WDW during the bounceback period could reserve one room on bounceback. That adult must then be the "lead person" on that reservation. My adult daughter & I each booked a room (both using MY credit card) for this year.
Now, since my daughter is actually staying in my room this year, and the second room was actually for another family, I called back when free dining came out Monday & changed the name on her reservation to their name.
So we were able to reserve 2 rooms on bounceback just in case free dining was not offered this year, and then change the reservation when fd came out.

WOW!
Thats a good deal, I'll do one and have DH do other. Didn't you have to list kids names for each room, or NAMES for each room?

Exactly what we did with our friends. We put DH in the room with friend and family and friend's DH in the room with me and my kids. We actually put my room on my CC and friend's room (my DH as the lead) on her CC. (I had her on my cell.) I haven't called to switch our names yet. I'm glad to hear you did.

Maybe you can book one room, and your spouse can book the other room??

That is what DH and I did last September.

There were only the 2 of us our room last Septemer but our adult son wanted to join us in September 2008.

I was told I could not book a room for him since the rooms could only be booked by a guest who was staying there at the present time.
DH and our son are booked in one room and I am booked in the other room.

We just listed family member names & then you can change the names at any time, as long as the lead person stays. If FD had not come out, my daughter would have had to leave her NAME on the second room, but could have actually stayed in my room.
