Anyone ever been to Dave & Busters?

Where the Dodge dealership was.

It's a great location for D&B... Interstate frontage so they'll be able to put a nice lighted sign visible to the highway. And easy on/off MA128 southbound. The problem, of course, is traffic heading into D&B coming off of MA128 northbound, and traffic heading out of D&B heading toward MA128 northbound.

that would be a good place for it! was wondering if they would ever put something there. wonder if it will ever happen?

My husband and I are in our 30's and we always have a blast when we go.

I agree with a couple of the other posters that said the food wasn't that great, but we go to play the games and have fun so it's not a big deal.

Oh, and I just saw that your cousin said you would have to have lunch and dinner? I don't think that would be necessary. We usually stay for about 3 hours or 4 hours (if we eat there, as well).

We love D&B!! It's like an older version of Chuck E Cheese!

Except with better food, less puke, and better prizes for your tickets! My daughter saved hers and got a Zune with it!

How much would you estimate it being for lunch for a family of five and playing games for a while? $100? $150?

I realize it will depend on what you eat and drink and how many games, just trying to get a guesstimate. Thanks!

I would actually say you are going to spend more around $200, maybe? It depends on what everyone eats and drinks and how much play time y'all would like.

I would say you can easily spend 15-20 per person for the food if each person eats an entree and gets a soft drink (or course, alcohol will tack more onto the bill).

The game cards (at least, in my city) cost 1.50 for the card and then you can add on $10, $20, etc. We always get, at the very least, $20 because that will keep us busy for a couple of hours (and that depends on the games you choose-the video games cost more than the skee ball). We also take our time, so what keeps us busy for a couple of hours may only take a kid an hour or so to go through.

There is a special at our Dave and Buster's right now for 15.99 per person. You choose off an special menu and get a $10.00 play card for 15.99. However, this is only Sun-Thurs (open-close) and Friday and Saturday (until 5 pm).

not sure if it's the same at all D&B, but at the one here, they can be pretty strict about their policy of kids must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the game room (so you can't let your group of 14 year olds run off and do their own thing).... so if there's going to be a lot of kids, make sure there's enough adults around too that can split up and stick with the various groups as they break off.... or check with the local D&B first and see if that's something they even worry about


good variety of games.... anywhere from typical carnival-type games (skeeball/free throw shooting/etc - which give tickets out), to your standard one-player video games, to video games that allow multiple players to compete at the same time (car racing/boat racing/etc).... outside the main game room, they typically have pool tables and shuffleboard tables as well....

Wow- glad ours is not like that! I am in a different section than my daughter all the time- we don't play the same type games!
