at a sleepaway camp?
I am hoping to get hired this summer for 8 weeks as a certified teacher. All the camps I am applying at, offer tutoring as an extra service and charge.
I am wondering if my children will be able to go free or at a reduced cost and if teachers have their own cabin/rooms?
I know they are treated a bit different than other counselors.
The salary is pretty good, considering its a summer supplement, opportunity for a change of place plus room and board.
Thoughts?

) but I was friends with one which I guess would fall into that category. She was the head of the art dept. though - what position are you applying for? She shared a cabin with other adult counselors - but they were all heads of depts - and her kids went to camp for free. If you get hired as a certified teacher I would guess that means you are not in charge of a cabin so you would bunk with other adults or have your own room in an adult cabin. It really depends on the camp.
) She had her own "cabin" which was basically a 3 room apartment. She has a toddler, and they paid to provide a nanny for him at the camp.
