My company got us tickets to this on Monday. Has anyone ever attended one?

The speakers this time are:

Rudy Giuliani
Bill Cosby
Zig Ziglar
Gen. Colin Powell
Lou Holtz
Goldie Hawn (yes, I said it)
Rick Belluzzo Pres of Microsoft
Brian Tracy
Gen. Stanley McChrystal
Steve Forbes

I googled it because I wondered just how long it would have to be to accommodate that many speakers. Many, many scam & ripoff reports came up, including an SEC investigation.

I saw those too, but how can you scam someone who is not spending money?

It's $9.95 for the entire office... which makes you want to go

No doubt it's one big infomercial, but I would love to hear at least 2 of the speakers. They're all probably plugging books or something, not to mention getting some monstrous networking done. Tickets ask everyone to register with their business cards.

$9.95 for an entire office? Is this being held in an arena? I would imagine several of those speakers make at least $20,000-plus for a speaking engagement. The math just doesn't work for me.

Yep, at the Georgia Done. I'm just wondering if anyone else has gone and if it was any good.

We went yesterday and it was very good. I only stayed for the morning but my team stayed the entire day. I literally have not seen that many people in one place in years... and I went to Orlando in July!!

My favorite was (surprisingly) Lou Holtz, the former coach of Notre Dame. He was funny and full of wisdom, wisdom we can use everyday.

My least fav was Gen McChrystal, who came on abruptly, said a few things and left... leaving us and the company basically hanging, because the next guy wasn't ready to go on yet!

I'm so sorry I missed Bill Cosby (LAST speaker) and Colin Powell (first speaker, we ran late). My team LOVED Bill, he's first and foremost a comedian and he had everyone rolling!
