Anyone esle noticed this?

We are taking my DD and her friend for a graduation trip at the end of May to BCV. DD's friend has never been. We have been so many times that we don't go commando anymore. I told my daughter that she'll probably want to do more late evenings with her friend so she can experience as much as she can in our five night stay. So I looked on the WDW site and found that only two of our five nights will have EMH in the evenings. I've never paid super close attention but i was thinking that there were EMH at some park virtually every night on previous trips, or am I remembering wrong? (I posted a similarly worded question on theme parks, but I thought I'd put it over here for the wiley DVC vets!)

It all depends on crowd levels. They may add EMH's later on.

When I have gone I remember 1 night at Epcot, 1 at MK and 1 HS so 3 in a week is about right for EMH. We are not that fond the EMH because when we have stayed all the "good rides" (according to teenaged DD's) were still very long waits! It is cool to walk around but even my DD's like it better getting to the park for rope drop or soon after and utilizing FP's and getting all the main attractions done by 1:00pm and then browse our way out of the parks. DD's do go back in the evenings but for rides like people mover, small world, American Idol experience. Sounds like a fun trip for DD and her friend! Enjoy it is so much fun to see WDW through someone else's eyes who has never been before!

Had a reply on the other thread that they aren't doing extra evening hours at AK anymore so there are just three nights a week now, one at each of the three other parks.

We were just there the week of 3/26 - MK was open until 1am two nights that week, AK open until 8pm for two nights, Epcot and HS both had two nights of later hours.

Disney definitely adjusts the EMH to accomodate the majority of folks they know will be onsite - our week was full of college spring breakers. Have fun!

While I love AM magic hours to get rides done. There is something special about PM magic hours to stay out late and enjoy the beauty of the lights in the parks.
We might be going at the end of the month and unfortunately for us it is during Grad nights. It really stinks that MK closes at 7pm the only two nights we will be there.
