Anyone elso done re-hitchin?

For our anniversary I've booked us at the Garden Grille. When I phoned to make our PS I was told that I couldn't ask for the re-hitchin ceremony on the phone, I just had to do it at the podium on the day. Does that sound right? really don't want to miss out.

I made my PS for Garden Grill, and I asked them to note in the comments that we wanted the rehitching ceremony. I called another day and confirmed all my PS #'s to make sure I had written them down correctly, and the CM read it back to me that we had requested it.

I'd call back and ask them to note it on the PS, you'll probably get a different CM this time.

I had made our "rehitchin" PS's for this past May's trip and the CM noted it on our PS, then I had to reschedule our trip so I had to reschedule the PS and that CM had no idea what it was but did note it on our PS. I did confirm with them at the podium when we checked in.

I'm sure they have a bunch of cakes on standby for the various occasions. It was cute, but I honestly would have rather have had the regular dessert. I didn't think the cake was that good.

But, if you want to be sure about everything try calling back until you get a CM that is familar with the ceremony.
