Anyone else's tax return hanging in limbo?

We filed Feb 9th 1040EZ as we have no credits at all including children or mortgage. The "where's my refund" only showed accepted and never changed. Even yesterday my ticker never changed but I had a direct deposit put in my account this morning though the ticker never changed.

I haven't started the process yet as I was using the refund for my May 2013 trip - maybe I better get started to be sure I get it back in time. Good luck with getting your refund. I wouldn't work for the IRS for all the money in teh world. The people on the front lines get all the complaints, and have absolutely no power over how/when/why the system works.

I just asked my DH tonite where our federal tax return was as he filed thru Turbo Tax about 4 weeks ago. We do not have anything 'extra' to file so nothing but the basic form. He had told me when he filed it that per the TT website, refunds were going to take longer than usual. Now that I know some of you have gotten your refunds, I'll have him check online to see what our status is. I'm used to getting our refund(when we get one)within 10 days or so.

Just found out we did have an extra $300 energy credit we applied for so that's the reason for the holdup in our case. Apparently, there's no money to fund this credit until sometime this month.

We were surprised at how fast our return is being processed after reading some of these posts.

We filed mon. am Feb 25th and was accepted later that day. Friday Mar 1 the "where's my return" website showed approved with a deposit date of tues. Mar 5th!

We have the same issue with our federal form, Turbo Tax is holding e filed returns until the government is ready for the forms, they had an issue with rental form filings (the IRS , not Turbo tax), Our state refund was in the bank within a week, and we will wait and wait for federal refund.

Mine has said accepted for over 2 weeks and no direct deposit - we did H&R. My state was accepted the day after federal and went into direct on Tuesday. I found out today that my federal had been in dd in our checking for over a week and we never got an email and where's my refund still says it is in process. Check your account it was suppose to be dd to.

omg, that would be too funny if i've been stressing over money all this time and actually had it!!

NO, not necessarily - the same thing happened with mine...had to resubmit them separate!

Based on the fact that I already have my refund from the state, I think that it I safe to assume that I submitted the return.

I got my Federal back within a week - State not yet!!

Just checked and mine says to be DD 3/6 !!!

Ours won't be accepted til mid-March due to the adoption credit. Many families I've talked with say that theirs were requested for more evidence, and by the time they finally got the tax return, it was August. Yikes!!!!

We are also in limbo. Our tax person says "maybe" he can e-file the return this week. Very frustrating.

I filed via Turbo Tax the second week of January. The IRS wasn't going to start processing returns until the last week of January. I got my refund on 2/1. I was in shock to say the least.

My NY state return was accepted at the end of January and I still haven't gotten my refund. The "check my refund" status on their site states it's "in the final stages. Most refunds take 2 weeks but it could take up to 4 weeks". Okay, it's been 4 weeks, where is my little refund?!?

My state (ri) is also pending for over 3 weeks?? Not sure if it is being held up because of the federal?

So I figure I'll get them by August if I am lucky,.,...

Cross your fingers...mine was waiting on the next batch too and was accepted by the IRS today. I'll have mine crossed for you and all the other people that have been waiting so long.

I was on the phone wit turbo tax for over an hour yesterday. Apparently turbotax is holding back my state and federal until the energy credit form is accepted by the IRS. Ugh

I am waiting for the energy credit as well. Here's hoping it will be soon!!

Not sure what is holding up my Rhode Island state tax? May have to call and see.
