Vacation packages and flights are already booked. I've been saving up money and working a lot to pay for this trip (I work fast food) and I thought the months would pass by if I kept myself busy but they are just dragging! I've done everything from write a list of things I want to do at Disney (including food I want to try), chose my magic band colors, and read numerous trip reports. Still summer technically hasn't started yet. Anyone else facing this dilemma of two entire seasons having to pass before they get to go home? I'm so anxious because by the time I go on this trip, it will have been 20 years since I last set foot in Disney. I have been wanting to go back for a long time but it just wasn't feasible before now. I'm so excited to be able to go back as an adult and not as a preschooler this time!

Yes!! Since I made my reservations I've been planning and looking at Disney stuff everyday. 123 days to go now and I've made most dining reservations and plans but I think time is slowing down! I'm counting the days til online checking now. lol. :flower1:

That's the only thing I haven't done is dining reservations and of course, I have to wait until 60 days out for Fastpass. I'm traveling with eight people so we aren't making dining reservations yet. We are having a meeting in July when the grandparents get back from visiting friends in Washington to sit down and draw up an itinerary of rides and restaurants that we want to check out. I have today off so it's going to be another day of reading everything I can about Disney!

Time will go by fast, lots of fun to stay in the Disney mood along the way.
True. Well, I was just chatting with my boyfriend's sister who is going on the trip and we are going to try and plan a day to do some Disney crafts for her children. It should be fun!

That is a great idea! Maybe you can have them make a paper chain countdown for the months left and then a grander one for when you are 60 days out.

150 days until we arrive, and they're the longest 150 days of the year due to the seasonality of my business. Constant Disney Jr. shows on our television and watching the opening of Shanghai with the kids last night isn't helping.

I still have 317 days until we leave, room is booked and one ticket is purchased. My daughter has no idea and all I do is look up everything Disney this is going to take FOREVER!!!!

So so long. How can you stand the wait. Mini vacation. Arrive next Friday night and come home Monday. Go back Columbus Day week end for 4 days and go back for 8 days just before Christmas. Dinning plans and reservations made.

701 days and counting. Driving DW crazy already. Yes I know it's a long way out to plan but I wanted enough time to save and do it right. Have gone to DL many times. 1st going to WDW plan on 8 days hitting all 4 parks and both water parks.

It does start going quicker - I promise :flower1:

I booked our trip over a year in advance and now we have 24 days left!!

I'm hoping once September hits and the countdown is down to three months, it will go quicker. It always seems to be quicker in threes. I don't know why. Haha.

Anyone else had their ticker stop working? It stopped last week so I've redone it but stuck again!

We booked not long ago for Christmas 2017.

That feels AAAAGGGGGEEEES away

have a wonderful vacation!

We booked May 2015 and go in 11 weeks and 2 days time. Can't bloody wait...:yay::yay: :dancer:party:This will be our very first time to visit WDW. Have been to DLP 10 times (as we live in the UK) and we are all super excited. Reservations booked, magic bands ordered, fast passes being booked soon, agenda organized (to a degree !!!) What else do we need to do everyone ???. One thing I would like to ask anyone is what is the rough cost of a cab to the outlet shopping centres from Polynesian resort and which one should we go to ? Any help and advice will be appreciated. Planning on spending seriously..........!!!

No idea about cabs as we always hire a car but there is Uber so sure someone will advise you! You will be spoilt for choice by the outlets - we go to 3 when we are around Orlando and then stop at the Florida Mall on our return to the airport as our return flights are always evening so we have a meal and stock up on M&M's and anything else we've missed at the outlets. I will ask my DIL which is the best if you are just doing 1 - she is there a couple of times a month with work and will know which is best.

7 months today ! :sad: It's soooo far away!

I break my wait time down as much as possible -
* 1 week until my boy's 8th birthday then...
* 2 weeks until our summer road trip through the Rockies then....
* 2 days after we get back I can book ADRs then...
* 3 weeks until school starts again (sob!) then...
* 1 week until we can buy our ski season pass then....
* 6 weeks(ish!) until ski season starts
then it's FP booking time, Christmas, new year, and then I can start packing!!!!!
