Anyone else watching "Amish in the City"?

I really like this show, it is an interesting concept, but it seems like those Amish kids are adjusting a little too easy to life outside the Amish. I thought they would be reacting a little different to it all. It makes me wonder if it is all real or not. Anyone else watching this show?

It is a surprisingly good show, I think. It is so re-freshing to look at small things through their eyes that they appreciate so much, like swimming, seeing a concert. I really think most of them will go back to the Amish, but maybe not right when the show ends.

Its my understanding that most or all of the amish on the show have been out of their communities for quite a while, in some cases a year or more. I believe a lot of it is still new to them, but not as much as if they were right off of the farm.

That's what I was thinking too. I have been searching the web for some insider information on it. Can you tell me where you got that info from?
BTW- I think they could have picked some better "city kids". Most of them I couldn't stand to be in the same room with for more than a minute!

I have watched for about the past 4 wks. So I didn't get to see the beginning. So far I really like the show. I would like to see those bratty city kids live the life of the Amish for the same amount of time.

I thought the city kids in the Amish country would be interesting too! I like this show and I have to say I have a little crush on Mose! Just love the slow accented way he talks! From what I've read all but 1 of the Amish decides to return to their way of life. Don't know if that's accurate or which one though.

OMG Me too!!! I thought I was the only one!
I bet it's Jonas that doesn't return.
I knew from the beginning that Ruth would return. She has that boyfriend back home. Miriam is missing her family like crazy. Randy.... well, I have no clue what Randy is thinking because he doesn't talk. That leaves me thinking it will either be Mose or Jonas and I am leaning more towards Jonas.

I love how the Amish kids are willing to try new experiences-spa, yoga, 'raw' food.

The city kids on the other hand should just get 'voted' out I know, I know, wrong show. I guess they put in the 'city' kids to create the drama and conflict but IMHO, the Amish kids could fill up the entire show and still be interesting.

I love the amish kids. The city kids should spend sometime in their shoes and maybe they would learn a little kindness. My heart really goes out to those kids when you realize they had never seen the ocean or been to a concert but are game to try anything!

I am watchign this show too and I like it. If you miss it on Wed. they rebroadcast it on friday nights. but somehow I got busy last week and missedboth nights. Will ahve to catch up.

I really think that Jonas is not going back. He really seems to want an education. Mose said last week that he was leaning towards not going back, and that surprized me. I think that Ruth is going back, and probably Miriam too. They hardly ever show Randy...I think that he will probably go back too, though.

I also have a little crush on Mose What a sweetheart! He is going to make some woman a really nice husband

IMO why I think what makes Mose so likeable is because of his level of maturity. He is a very logical thinker and his own man.

I'm watching too. What is up with Randy? His voice is so weird! I love how the Amish kids are so touched over seeing the simplest things like the ocean!

And that vegan girl...she is soooo strange.
