Everyday I get online to check here and mousesavers for any possible new development in codes. And everyday there's nothing. So really all that's discussed is AAA rates and an occasional Florida rate. Does anyone miss the days when we use to wake up daily with the hope that the ap rates would come out and that excitiment at how really low those rates were? I loved the rush I would get calling the CM and booking for my next vacation. I just miss those days.

Actually, after the initial upset about BRP, I'm happy that I don't have to check for AP rates every morning at 7 a.m. I'm also happy that AP discounts are only available to people who already have the Annual Pass. And I'm happy that there's no incentive anymore for people to have more than one reservation in hopes of getting an AP discount on a room they can't afford.

It is disappointing that there aren't more discounts available to the general public, but WDW is still a pretty good value for a family vacation, IMO.

I agree. Even though i will never have an Annual Pass since i live too far away to visit that often i rely on discount codes for the general public to make my trip a little more affordable to have extra spending cash. Walt Disney World is affordable for the lower middle-class and up if you do not live within descent driving distance to Orlando. Airfare now is murder with the rise of gas and now Disney has restructured their pricing for the Park Hoppers. I enjoyed paying about $210.00 for a 5 to 7 day pass with no expiration and park hopper features. Now you have to pay extra for those features which does not exactly make me feel warm & fuzzy inside; quite the opposite.

OP...my husband was just saying that he was concerned that websites like mousesaver and others are going to lose a lot of traffic.

I miss the excitement of seeing what kind of deal I could score.....BRP kind of took that over for me. I still say we should see if this will last......

I agree!!! I miss those days too! It is funny I would check the boards even though I had no intention of going.
It was just the rush of it.
