Anyone else using their PITC bandanna from the cruise as a face mask?

I considered it until I dug them out and handled the material. It is way too thin. It would be better than nothing if you had other option, but if you hold it up to the light you can see through it pretty well.

Ideally you need tightly woven (i.e. you can't see through it) 100% cotton fabric.

You could line it with a tightly woven fabric. Two layers are better than one.

I've worn mine a few times while out but I agree that it is quite thin. I'm still waiting for some Disney people to give me a complement!

Yep, if you line it or double/triple it up with other fabric it certainly could be used. But on its own it really is a "last resort because I don't have anything else" option.

I used a couple of my old maternity blouses to make my masks.

My hubby uses his pirate bandana at the park because they require masks but it’s too hot (so fla) and harder to breathe with the thicker masks while doing laps on the trails.

I gave two of our Pirate scarfs to my godson for his elementary aged kids. I thought it would be a cute way for them to be masked without it seeming so medical.
