Anyone else this obsessed?

My husband put his hand to my forhead last night and said..."YUP....you got the Disney fever.:rotfl2:

I think about Disney every day!!! I completely converted DBF into a Disney fanatic like me. We just came in from sitting in the yard all afternoon talking about Disney, playing Disney categories (a game where we say a category, like "rides in tomorrowland" or "places we ate on our last trip" and just talking about why we love it so much and absolutely can't wait until we go in a few weeks. I'm totally obsessed and I love it!!!!!!

:rotfl2: Me too! I go to sleep thinking about my plans!! :cloud9: :rotfl: I count ddp credits,:teacher: then count them again. It's a sickness for sure.
I am very excited to be bringing my parents along this time. They haven't been since 1972!
I am always on the Dis and I can't stop changing my ADRs..:confused3 It's all I talk about and I am getting on everyones nerves...:rolleyes1

are ya kiddin'!!!! it's all i think about, talk about, dream about......

i think i drive my dh crazy with it. the compulsive planning, packing....everything. i come on here every chance i get just to make sure i have not missed anything. i've learned so much on the dis it's not even funny. really. i'm in the packing mode now. the suitcase are out and i've started putting things in them, just so i won't forget it. i'm so glad i'm not alone in my obsession!!!!!

Every day--whether a trip is planned or not. Right now we don't have one planned for sure, but we're considering December 2008, which would be our first Christmastime trip, so I have all new information to check out this time!

I so envy those of you with a spouse/SO who is as insane as you are! I am completely obsessed with it, but DH is so not....it was a bit of a struggle to get him to agree to this trip....and Saturday he said we're not going again for at least 3 years!! I told him he doesn't have to go next year, but the kids and I will be:).

we just had this conversation at our house last night. My husband is a bit of a *geek* and I like to rib him about it. He plays video games and still likes to read X-Men comic books...I mean come on the man is 40 yo with a 11 yo DD. Wwwweeeellll...he walked in while I was surfing disboards last night. He was like "Wait a minute, what is this? What are all these abbreviations? What are you doing?" He was laughing so hard. I said "I know, i know...it's an illness." He said he was just so happy to see that I'm a geek/nerd about something too. He knew I was on the disboard but he never realized what exactly that meant. He was asking me about the abbreviations and was saying now other people are going to know what you are talking about? Well duh. Then when we read a post that I didn't reply to he, he was all concerned about whether or not that person was going to get the information from somewhere. Gotta love him.

After our first trip WDW has become an obsession. I read the books before our first trip but you really don't get it until on your first trip. I quickly read over the books again but that wasn't enough. I went to the library and checked out all the WDW books they had. But I still wanted more. I got turned on to allears next by a co-worker. We spend each Wednesday solving the mousebogglers - we are going to win that darn snow globe. Then I found a chat room. This has lead to all the other WDW websites and now I have found the DIS!!! Please send help or APs... :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We have exactly 107 days left till our September trip! Anyone else spend every waking moment thinking about getting there, being there, remembering everything about Disney and feeling in your mind like you are actually there? Humming the music from Spectromagic or Wishes in your head, you can almost hear the crowds and smell the smells.......Wishing you could drive to the airport right this very second, get on a plane and go? Pray you win the mega millions so that you would have enough money to vacation there for a year straight? Wonder what people are doing at the World right now? Please tell me there are other people out there who spend all day, everyday thinking about Disneyworld?!? I'm starting to think I need a little help.......

hi my name is christine and I obsessed with Disney, nice to meet you all!:rotfl2:

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one that's driving my friends and family crazy. I'm going with my family and my DBF and her family. She's been nearly as obsessed as I have until I started talking about planning a follow up adults trip. She's saying 'one trip at a time' but I'm going nuts. I want to go back without kids and don't want to wait another year.

My DH says he's never seen me as excited about anything. I can't help it!

for the past few months i've been obsessing over Disney.

I was last there when I was about 8/9 and i'm 18 now so it's been a while but i have fond memories of it raining and wearing bright yellow Pocohontas pochos and my mum screaming for dear life on Splash Mountain (she thought the big drop outside was part of another ride, hehe)

CAN'T WAIT! hehe :wizard:

DD15 and I are totally obsessed with our Disney vacation in August. She's planning on listening to her Ipod on the plane, but she said once we get there, she won't be using it...the only music she wants to hear is "Zipadee-Do-Dah". :lmao: We've been counting down day by day since we first booked (it was 172 days away...now we're down to 33 days). This is part of the fun of going to Disney!:woohoo:

:cool1:
I have a calendar with the day numbers form 1- 365. I take the Day# I am leaving and subtract today's day #, so I don't think that it counts the day I leave, I will have to manually count to verify.
Feeling nomal now, finding everyone else like me!
LOVE everthing Disney. I posted a nother thread, about my remodel. I purchased the Mickey entertainement center last April, and it was to wide to fit through the doorways of my older house. So my dad came over with the saws-all and made it fit going into the living room. SO I think I own the taj Mahal (SP), but it is really a little doll house.
January I decided to remodel to accomodate this entertainment center, I bought the coffee and end table as well. I also decided to make a small BR into a home office, and of course I bought the Pirates animated lamp, so the office will now be my POC room, painted and sponged red and copper, with all the Pirates accessories I can find.
Most people who don't know me see my other BR and comment on what an adorable kids room it is, however I don;t have any :), it's all mine!
need to work now before they fire me!
I have the WDW screen saver on my computer that I DL a couple of years ago, so I am remined always of where I would rather be!

Totally and completely obsessed. DH isn't as much of a fanatic as I, HOWEVER, this time with us getting the DDP, he's all over it and thoroughly looking forward to this time around. AND my parents (who we always take with us) are Disney nuts like me (I get it honest, however I think I'm slightly worse) and aid in the disney insanity. We get together with them constantly and its our #1 topic of discussion!!! We bought passporters this time and are really trying to plan things out more than other times!

I am definitely obsessed with Disney. My sixteen year old thinks I' m too obsessed, but I know he's excited about going.

I have to say I am a very lucky wife. :cloud9: I took my dh for his first time, he was my boyfriend then, back in 2003. I was not sure if he liked it at all ,because your first time at Disney you are so overwhelmed. But when he called me on Monday and was at work, on the Disney web site asking where I was, and talking about everything I knew he was hooked! That year we went down 3 times! :dance3: He has now become an even bigger fan of Disney then my entire family... and my family are DISNEY OBSESSED! (My brother was even married in Disney) He has actaully become even more obsessed then we are, he was the one who introduced me to all these boards, he knows all the trivia and facts. He loves Disney so much that we HAD to get married there which was great because that was exactly what I wanted! party:

But I am totally obsessed with Disney. I am a teacher and even my entire classroom is decorated with Disney! We are a little over 5 months out of our vacation and I have been planning this for about a year! I am talking about Disney 24/7! I LOVE DISNEY !!!

Every Wednesday morning for the last few months a co-worker and I have entered the Mousy Mindbogglers contest on the allears newsletter. We have gotten almost everyone right but never had we won. I thought we would have won a couple times when only 70-80 people got the correct answer. Last week was one of the easier puzzles so I didn't think we had a chance.
BUT NO!!! WE WON!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
