Anyone else surprised there was no discounts this am?

I have seen more than one promotion at a time. As a matter of fact they had both the gift card promo and the percent off promo going for summer dates and now another summer promo. Obviously, they are not filling rooms for the summer. We are going Aug 15TH, so I would really like to know whether or not they are going to offer anything for that week. I can't imagine they will not give some kind of discount and they don't have it included in the percent off and people are saying don't count on free dining for that week. It would really suurprise me if they offer discounts on every single date except ours? I mean even Easter blackout dates were removed this year.

Anyway I do already have a percent off through a coupon code, but I would like free dining. The plus is, if they offer nothing at all for that week crowds should be light.

When I talked to CRO akl about dining resies last week he told me that they were doing the GC promo in lue of Free Dining Promo. I hope that is not the case. I am trying to add on 3 days to the end of the vacation.

If we all look on the bright side they must not be filling rooms for the summer if they are offering another discount. Hopeful!

This new offer still expires before we would have expected Free Dining to start. I'll agree it's odd.. but for some reason I'm not worried yet.

The new deal goes up until August 14th. There is still time to offer discounts for after that date. If I remember correctly, last year they had room discounts and free dining going at the same time for the same dates. Two years ago, we had booked free dining on a bounceback and it started on August 23, 2009. When it came out to the GP, it started on August 16th!? One week earlier that what we were offered! I know a lot of people were upset, but at least we were able to book our airfare and not have to worry when and if Disney was going to offer FD again last year.
