Anyone else still have their tree up?

My fake one is still up!

Decorations are gone. It takes two to dismantle and DH and I have not been home at the same time much lately.

I could hardly wait to put up the tree this year, but now I just can't seem to muster the strength to take it down. Gosh, it will be so much work. . .

Besides, it looks so pretty!

Well, we finally got the tree down. My problem is just when you think you have put everything away, you find more stuff. I was sure everything was put away and filled up a whole box tonight with the straggling knick-knacks. The only reason I am trying to get done is DD's bday party is Saturday, and I really want it to all be gone.

I guess I should mention that our tree is artificial.

Our tree is still up and fully decorated. I wanted to take it down last weekend since Epiphany was last Friday. It didn't happen, so maybe we'll do it this weekend. :rotfl2:

One year we left it up until June....it got awfully dusty.

Artificial tree is still up & looking just as beautiful as the first day.
DS is going to miss it, as he runs out of his room every morning
looking for it - I don't have the heart to take it down.

Hate to add to the horror stories, but last week nearby a 70-something
woman died when her (grown) daughter did what was posted earlier,
she tried to pull the tree out past burning candles!!
What are people thinking????????? Or not, I guess??
Both women got trapped insided, and they were row-homes so
I believe 4 other houses were destroyed, as well.
The daughter survived, thankfully, and no one else was hurt,
but I wouldn't want to live with that memory - accident or not.

She continues to stand in all her glory...and will for a while! :teeth:

My artificial tree is still up. We keep turninig it on. It looks pretty but I'm just not enjoying it like I did a couple of weeks ago. I guess that means I'm sick of it and should take it down. Later!!!! :rotfl2:

Our artificial tree is still up too. DH finally got the box downstairs last night though (after a fair amount of nagging :teeth: ), so I'm out of excuses - it's coming down this weekend...

Mine is coming down tomorrow. I'm glad I'm not the only one. ::yes::

Our two artificials came down last weekend (I always wait until after the epiphany). I probably would have stretched it to this weekend though if not for being pregnant and having a lot of other house projects that I want to get done before the baby comes (mainly the nursery).

We faithfully put ours up the day after Thanksgiving and take it down the week-end after New Year. I can't believe people rip it down the day after Christmas!!

Unfortunately I hated every minute of taking it down! One frustrated mother + 2 crabby kids= UG!!

I forgot to mention before that ours are fake.

When I put mine aways I just throw it in the basement with an old sheet over it, I don't take ANYTHING off of it. So I Really have no excuse. :rotfl: I just like to see it. ::yes::

Our tree is still up and decorated. I'm usually pretty good about getting Christmas packed up on New Years Day. This year we left to chaparone a band trip to Disneyland and San Diego the day after Christmas and got back on New Years Day too tired to do a thing. Last weekend we had to take our daughter back to school. I am bound and determined to get things put away this weekend. I'm grateful that Monday's a holiday.
